Despite its name, it won’t appear pink—the title comes from the early bloom of creeping phlox, a pink wildflower native to eastern North America. making it look slightly smaller and dimmer. Uniquely, the 2025 Pink Moon also serves as the Paschal Moon—the first full moon after the spring equinox—setting the date for Easter, which will fall on April 20. Astrologically, this full moon appears in Libra, highlighting themes of balance, harmony, and relationships, further emphasized by Venus moving direct after retrograde.
