During our flight, an entitled mother (EM) asked me to put away my daughter Ella’s iPad because her son, who wasn’t allowed screen time, was upset. When I refused, EM got passive-aggressive and later “accidentally” knocked the iPad to the floor, making Ella cry. I focused on calming her, and soon, karma struck—EM’s son had a meltdown, admitting he felt bad, leaving his mother visibly shaken.
A kind flight attendant gave Ella a small stuffed airplane, lifting her spirits and assuring me the incident would be reported. Before landing, EM surprisingly mouthed an apology. Despite the ordeal, Ella’s joy and resilience made the trip end on a hopeful note.
