Musk’s DOGE Uncovers Millions In Payments To Former Biden Aide In Shady Deal

The U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has uncovered evidence that a high-ranking aide to President Biden allegedly facilitated the diversion of millions in federal funds to a migrant facility that remains unused. The nonprofit Family Endeavors, linked to a former Biden transition team member, received a contract for an overflow facility in Pecos, Texas. Despite the facility being empty, the organization continued to receive $18 million per month since March 2024 to house unaccompanied migrant children. DOGE’s investigation revealed that Family Endeavors saw a massive increase in its assets, from $8.3 million in 2020 to $520.4 million in 2023, largely funded by federal contracts. This mismanagement has reportedly saved taxpayers over $215 million annually after the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) terminated the contract.

This is not the first instance of questionable dealings linked to political connections. DOGE previously revealed that a group associated with failed Democratic candidate Stacey Abrams received $2 billion in grants from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to fund energy projects, despite reporting minimal revenue. These revelations have sparked concerns about government spending and the misuse of taxpayer funds at a time when the U.S. faces significant immigration and resource challenges. The continued funding of empty facilities and politically connected organizations raises questions about efficiency and accountability within federal programs.
